The Whistleblower’s Tale: How An Accountant Took on Halliburton – ProPublica

I have written a whistleblower policy for an NGO – not an easy task, primarily because naive and trusting people seem to believe that careful attention to detail is not necessary if people genuinely believe a company or business naturally will follow a moral stance by virtue of its ‘mission’.

Haliburton’s money mission is quite something else. The life of any whistleblower takes a difficult turn when truth is exposed and this man’s story shows the tragic.consequences of his moral stance.

Another great post from Pam Martens. Last chance to get the link as I feel like a lazy bogging thief! Being back in the FT workforce my own ‘writing time’ is severely curtailed. 😧 Anyway her expertise in this field far outweighs mine so soak it up!
