Obama Deifies American Hegemony

http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/09/29/obama-deifies-american-hegemony/

‘Masterly Chinese diplomacy’, ‘traditional US spiel’ Dr Paul Craig Roberts listens intently to UN discourse ….”Russia, China, and Iran did not accept Washington’s definition of “international norms.”
It is so much about what is not said.
Putin raises the issue that Washington ‘repeats its mistakes by relying on violence which results in poverty and social destruction” and   asks Obama: “Do you realize what you have done?”
Exceptional? Protective? Violence justified to protect the ‘free flow of commerce’ ?
Best of all…. Obama declared Washington’s purpose to “prevent bigger countries from imposing their will on smaller ones.”
Ha ha hegemony!
Good read but wouldnt want to be there.

Radicalisation kit links green activism and ‘alternative music’ to extremism | Australia news | The Guardian

WHAT!?

Thats a problem. Better listen to some more RATM. Know your enemy.

……..
Fight the war, fuck the norm
Now I got no patience
So sick of complacence
With the D the E the F the I the A the N the C the E
Mind of a revolutionary
So clear the lane
The finger to the land of the chains
What? The land of the free?
Whoever told you that is your enemy?

Now something must be done
About vengeance, a badge and a gun
‘Cause I’ll rip the mike, rip the stage, rip the system
I was born to rage against ’em
………
……..
I’ve got no patience now
So sick of complacence now
……..
……
Come on!
Yes I know my enemies
They’re the teachers who taught me to fight me
Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission
Ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite
All of which are American dreams (8 times)

Israel’s left is finally bringing its racism out of the closet | Jonathan Cook: the View from Nazareth

http://www.jonathan-cook.net/2015-09-23/israels-left-is-finally-bringing-its-racism-out-of-the-closet

Jonathon Cooks article exposes the  Israeli left racism with their response to the introduction of a draconian terrorism bill that lets the government define any group it dislikes, including civil ones, as a terrorist organisation.

The bill provides that “non-material support, such as a “like” on Facebook, could land you three years in jail. “Abetting terror”, even unwittingly – say, by selling a car to someone who later carries out an attack – can earn you 30 years.”

Well there’s Israeli de mock racism for you!

Timor-Leste initiates arbitration proceedings under the Timor Sea Treaty « Government of Timor-Leste

http://timor-leste.gov.tl/?p=13421〈=en

Yesterday…..The Timor Sea Treaty Australia and ‘a fair go’..
Australia’s recent history on the matter has said no to a fair treaty.

Brandis as Ned Kelly from the George Brandis ‘Live Art’ site on Facebook.

Will changes in Australian leadership and reinitiation of Treaty see progress in the sea boundary to help raise Timor Leste from poverty or will the continuation of Brandis and Bishop with no alternative view from labour see talks fail to produce a fair outcome or worse, failure to even conciliate?

Ramos-Horto weighs in today…..

http://www.tempotimor.com/nasional/horta-i-m-hopeful-and-convinced-we-can-work-out-an-improved-maritime-agreement#.VgHq5VhkrdE.facebook
“I am convinced, being Australia a true friend of Timor-Leste, and being Australians known as very fair-minded, if we sit down and talk quietly and patiently, as neighbours and friends, who shed blood for each other in our history, we can work out a much improved Maritime Agreement and one that not only encompasses oil and gas revenues but that also covers maritime security”

Good luck Josè!

I like the maritime security bit thrown in as a timely topic but what will that mean for Timor….warehousing and holding of maritime refugees? Who knows, been raised before. Lets just see again how ‘fair’ our pollies are.
