Koalas and our Govt agency lack of science = No Koalas

So it’s “business as usual and it’s unlikely koalas will have a positive future, while management is not required or encouraged to change”.

Like having the dodo on the Mauritian national emblem! Guess what? It is.

  1. Hello, lovely Lesley. I hope this wee note finds you well. I thought of you as a denizen of WordPress and as my old friend as I was creating another blog, and thought I would pop in to say hello. Next blog is The Planet Widow, which I may or may not maintain as time and energy permit. My Ken passed from cancer last November, and the precariousness, terror and wonder of the bereavement journey generates much thought (there’ll be a book in it too, I suspect). Loving you, my dear – keep fighting in the articulate way that you do xo

  2. Hi Louise,
    Didn’t write back so sorry.
Better late than never. I got breast cancer in 2017 and it’s now been 5yrs
My sister died of cancer in 2018 she got Carcino Sarcoma in the endometrium and died within 10months, 2days before she died, Stuart my youngest son got diagnosed with Multiple myeloma and passed away after 9 lines of treatment including a 3 stem cell transplants in July 2020. It’s been a long haul and I followed them through it. It’s now a new life.
    Hope you’ve written another book!
I’m trying not to be so much of a recluse!
